Jukwaa La Katiba Tanzania
This case study profiles the JUKATA campaign, which successfully forged new ground for civil society in Tanzania during the 2010-2013 constitutional review. JUKATA promoted civic engagement and carved out space in the process for citizens’ voices. Tanzanian and other CSOs can learn from JUKATA’s experience of helping to shape a national effort to break new ground for citizen participation.
